A Woman After God's Own Heart

Wow, this school year went by super fast, I can't even imagine how fast next year will go. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to go to a christian school all of my education so far. It has been fun being able to grow in my relationship with my schoolmates.

I have had the opportunity to go to school with 2 of my sisters, however Cher is graduating this year. Cher is an amazing sister and I love her so much. Yes, there were those times where we may not have gotten  along the best, like when she stole my legos and I tattle-tailed, causing her to get a spanking and maybe even myself. Or that one time when Kari and her tried sticking my foot in the toilet. However, there are so many more memories of when we actually got along. Like the amazing memories of going on vacation with Grandma and Grandpa to Colorado and South Dakota, vacationing to Branson and NC, going to the apple orchard, sister dates, or going to camp with each other. There are so many amazing memories with my sister and I am sure there will be many more, just for now they might be prolonged.

I have to admit, it is going to be pretty hard having to say goodbye to Cher. I have gone to school and played sports with her all my life. She is very near and dear to my heart. I don't know what I will do next year without her. She has always been there for me and now I am on my own. (minus Jenessa of course) She isn't just my sister, she is my friend. She is one of those people who you can trust with anything, she is an encouragement to anyone and everyone she sees, and she is a woman after God's own heart. She is both beautiful inside and out. God shines right through her. She has challenged me greatly through my life. She has helped me grow in my relationship with the Lord and has challenged me through her own life to love others more.

I have had the opportunity to play sports with Cher. I have been so blessed to have as wonderful of a team as I do. Cherilyn is a leader in both volleyball and basketball. When we are all slacking and/or tired she pushes us to work harder. She encourages us when we are down. She has helped me so much in sports. There were those days where it just was not going well, but she would come along side of me and encourage me and help me actually have fun. She wanted to make sure that whether we won or lost we praised God. He is in control, we just need to do our best, and let God take care of the rest.

Thanks Cher for being there for me and being such a great sister. You will be greatly missed next year when you go off to college. Jenessa and I are definitely going to have to take some road trips to come and visit you and you are going to have to visit us. I love you so much dear! Praying for you!
